Aza Lineage - Rebel Daawta (VP Records)

Aza Lineage (Dana Bernard) can certainly be considered one of the most promising new talents on Jamaica's musical firmament, but until now, fans had been waiting for a full-length album. There has been no shortage of singles, and in 2023 she already released 'Kingston To Cali', a six-track EP produced by Natty Megs of California's More Life Productions, but for 'Rebel Daawta' she now joined forces with none other than King Jammy!

After the Bristol-based band previously had to say goodbye to bassist Derrick King and vocalist Delroy O'Gilvie, we have now received the sad news that co-founder and lead vocalist Errol 'Barkwood' Brown has also passed away.
