The fact Polish producer Moony draws inspiration from the vastness of the universe, with a particular soft spot for the moon, is evident not only from his moniker but also from the titles of his previous releases ('Tales From The Moon', 'Lunar Visions', 'Lunar Cycle'). His latest EP, 'Lunar Odyssey', continues this celestial theme, once again paying tribute to Earth's natural satellite.
For this eight-track release, Moony surrounded himself with familiar collaborators, including fellow Poles like Hanka ?ubie?ska (featured on ‘Alternatywna Rzeczywisto??’ or “alternative reality”), DubaYaga (‘Distance’), MC Polish Man (‘Spaced Out’) and violinist Itaya, whose string work elevates the instrumentals ‘Orbiting Strings’ and ‘Solar Fiddler’. Adding to the international flavour are California-based DJ VonDiego and Irish artist 4rran, now residing in France. The entire project was expertly mixed by Marek Bogda?ski, better known as Dreadsquad, in his SuperFly Studio.
