With 'Blooming Part Three', we finally arrive at the concluding chapter of the trilogy promised by Breton band Faygo.

The track list once again features four vocal cuts and four dubs, and with this release, we at last get to hear ‘Blooming’, the swing-ska tune that lent its name to the trilogy.
‘Rise Up’, written and sung by Faygo bassist Cody Jahrett, delivers solid roots vibes, but the standout is undoubtedly ‘Same Government’, penned by drummer Théo Marin, a track that takes aim at the French political scene, weaving in the voices of presidents Macron, Chirac, Sarkozy and Hollande.
As with the previous installments, Faygo has clearly put as much care and energy into the four dub versions on ‘Blooming Part Three’ as they did into the originals. Each dub offers a fresh perspective, with ‘Dubvernment’, the dub of ‘Same Government’, standing out as the crowning jewel.
Excellent closing chapter to this thoroughly enjoyable trilogy!
