The legendary Jah Tubbys hardly needs any introduction! Jah Tubbys is a soundsystem, record label, equipment manufacturer and a real cornerstone of the UK’s reggae and dub scene since their foundation in 1971. For over five decades they have build a reputation of being the heaviest sound around. Laying a solid foundation for generations of soundsystems to come. London’s ‘Hooligan Sound’ did not only provide equipment to soundsystems worldwide but runs the Y&D label since the 80’s and the famous Jah Tubbys record label till this day. Releasing epic singles with artists like Dixie Peach, Errol Bellot, Kenny Knots, King Alpha, Vibronics and many more. Known for their energetic performances Jah tubbys world system never fails to deliver!

Macky Banton was immersed in the sound system culture from a young age. At 14, he attended his first Jah Tubbys session, which he cites as a pivotal experience. He became a member of the Jah Tubbys sound system and later joined influential sound systems like Iration Steppas and Channel One with who he performs all over the world.

Equality Soundsystem with King Samir & Daddy Cookiz

Equality Soundsystem has made some serious moves in the past years. Apart from building the beautiful soundsystem they have been pushing reggae and dub music by organising and hosting various events in Belgium.

King Samir has been sharpening his skills as an MC with both Equality and Waga Waga Soundsystem.

Daddy Cookiz is known from his work as one of the singers of Atomic Spliff, a reggae band that released a few notable albums in the 2010’s. He is a regular guest MC on the Equality Soundsystem and recently became a member of the newly founded Red Lighta Soundsystem.

Forward Fever with Kologne

Forward Fever has been our steady ‘Partner in Dub’ since 2010. They produce and release their own tunes on the Forward Fever Recordings label, but also on respected labels such as Indica Dubs, Abajahnoy, Youth & Truth, Reservoir Dub, Vibe Generator and more.

Kologne (also known as Singing Cologne), originally from Lindstead, Jamaica, was discovered in the 1990s by Fattis ‘Xterminator’ Burrel, who introduced him to the legend Sizzla – with whom Kologne went on his first European tour in the early 2000s. Over the years, Kologne has collaborated with greats such as Roots Radics, Linval Thompson, Max Romeo, Disciples, Inner Sanctuary, Black Redemption and many others. Forward Fever and Kologne first crossed paths in 2022 at Dub Revolution. The connection was instant, and since then they have been working together regularly on new releases. They have also shared the stage at events such as Reggae Geel and Melkweg Amsterdam with King Shiloh.
